Michael, Beloved Father, friend, brother, son and believer of Christ, passed on to glory March 17th 2026, at the age of 75.

Michael was born on July 10, 1950, at 11:57 p.m. in Santa Barbara, California, to Pauline and Patrick C. Wright.

Growing up, Michael loved surfing along the California coast and soaking up the sun. His early adult years were filled with fly-fishing on the McKenzie River and spending as much time as possible with his family at the Holiday Farm.

He loved softball, logging, golfing, politics, and, most of all, his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy. His hope was in Jesus, and he had many stories to share about how his life was transformed by the love of God. He delighted in creating art, engaging in deep conversations, and could also be the biggest goof.

Michael's passion and purpose were found in loving and serving the recovery community. He spent many years helping wounded warriors like himself overcome their battles and live fulfilling lives. He loved and embraced people from every walk of life and believed deeply in the goodness of God.

Michael's life touched many lives and we invite and welcome you to share stories, favorite memories, words of wisdom, and the ways he made a lasting impact on your lives. Whether through laughter, encouragement, friendship, or faith, your memories will help us celebrate his legacy.
